About Linda
LaCroix
Her fashion background and passion for crafting made beading
a perfect fit for Linda Lacroix, new owner of Beads On The Kennebec.
A graduate of Barbizon School of Modeling, Linda owned and operated
her own modeling agency in Rhode Island.
Having spent countless hours honing her beading and crafting
skills, Linda holds a deep appreciation and admiration for our
local artisans. She is looking forward to serving the beading
needs of her gifted clientele as well as the local aspiring students
and jewelry making artists.

About the Founder,
Cyndy Sexton
Cynthia Sexton received her Bachelor
of Science degree in education from the University of Maine
in Orono. Cyndy has 33 years of experience teaching elementary-aged
children and perfecting her instructional skills. Since her
pre-teen years, Cyndy has enjoyed the creativity of knitting,
embroidery, cross-stitch, flower arranging, sewing, scrapbooking,
and stamping. Since 1997, Cyndy has been learning beading skills
from her cousin, who owns a bead store in Oak Park, Illinois.
Cyndy is anxious to use those unique craft skills and instructional
techniques to offer beading experiences in various craft mediums. |

About Beads on
the Kennebec
Beads on the Kennebec is a premier
bead store. Our doors were opened for the customers' shopping
pleasure on August 16, 2004. We carry a large variety of gemstones,
Czech glass, clay, delica, seed, crystal beads, beading supplies,
and books. Our objective is to create a place that provides
a variety of beads and supplies and enhances the customers'
experience with beads. We offer weekly classes, where customers
can learn beading skills, beading stitches to make unique jewelry,
and how to use beads in other craft areas, including knitting,
crochet and cross stitch
