Happy Holidays Everyone!

Hello Everyone

Well Spring is officially here. We're just waiting for the weather to catch up. But, that's Maine for you! The Spring Class Schedule has been slow in coming, too. There has been a lot to do to get it ready, but I think you'll find it worth the wait.

With the return of Melody Mac Duffee's classes and trunk show April 20-23, it's a FULL schedule! Part II settles down to our regular instructors and some of the wonderful, amazing projects they have come up with. There are old tried and trues as well. So whether you need a brush up on an old stitch or want to try something entirely new, you'll find plenty to keep you interested here.

The big news is the MELODY MACDUFFEE of SOUL OF SOMANYA will be back for four days, April 20-23 with her magnificent trunk show of Fair Trade beads from Ghana, in West Africa. Melody also has some wonderful classes to teach out of her two books on Wire Working. "Lacy Wire Jewelry" and "Decorative Wire Findings" (both available here at the shop). She will be here and teaching two classes a day from Thursday, April 20- Sunday, April 23. The shop will be open until 8:00 pm on that Thursday and Friday and until 5:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. So you can shop late while classes are going on. This event was so popular last July that people have been asking when is Melody coming back. There are some repeats in case you couldn't make them all and there are a few new ones, too.

Register for classes early (by April 15) you will receive 15% Off materials for those classes. Half the class fee down reserves your seat and entitles you to the materials discount. The only exception will be any items from the trunk show. Those items are already discounted at "show prices". Wire for Melody's classes WILL, however, be included in the discount.

There are other wonderful classes to expand your skills as well. Mig, Marie, Cherie, Sue and I have a few new items to tempt you, So, peruse the information below and call to register early.

Peruse the schedule (Part I and Part II) and call and register EARLY!! If you missed or deleted the Spring Schedule Part I, let me know and I'll resend it. You can also access the classes via the Facebook page. All classes are listed under "Events". The schedule will also be up on the website soon. Keep checking back.

Classes are great fun! You make new friends, learn a new skill and have laughs! Everything needed to get through the dreary winter and keep smiling! See you for the next one?

See you soon and
Happy Beading,
Linda

Folks who have taken it previously have been having such fun exploring the endless possibilities for combining seed and novelty beads into unique art jewelry! You've marveled at the seemingly random beauty of Freeform Peyote stitch. How do they do it? Stitching seems to branch off every which way with different size beads interjected everywhere? What may seem random usually does have a plan (of sorts). Marie will show you how to jumpstart your creativity. You'll start with a thin band and build from there. Where will your imagination take you? This is just a sample of where your imagination may go. Bring all your odd beads and see how to bring them all together beautifully!
